Skills

Resilience
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I've consistently demonstrated resilience by overcoming challenges and adapting to new situations with unwavering determination. Between balancing multiple responsibilities, navigating the demands of leadership roles, or working through unexpected obstacles, I have learned to stay focused and solution-oriented. As an out-of-state student from Chicago, 1000 miles away from my family, I learned how to depend on myself without any sense of familiarity present. My experience studying abroad in Seville, Spain, particularly tested my ability to adapt to a new cultural environment. Still, it also strengthened my problem-solving skills and ability to communicate across language barriers as I immersed myself fully in Spanish culture, living with a host family for six weeks while attending a fully Spanish school for the duration of the program. Additionally, I have learned to remain calm and flexible in high-pressure situations, always searching for ways to turn challenges into opportunities for growth. This resilience has shaped me as an individual and has become one of my greatest strengths in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of business.

Detail-oriented
I am a very detail-oriented individual. As a student graduating with 5 different degree certifications, I had to remain highly structured and pay attention to detail to graduate with my 3 minors, a Master's, and an undergraduate degree in 4 years. As a graphic designer, I pay extreme attention to detail to create engaging and interactive content in the form of flyers, graphics, Instagram reels, stories, and posts.

Communication
My communication ability has been a critical asset throughout my academic and professional experiences. As a bilingual speaker of English and Spanish, I've had the opportunity to bridge language barriers and foster understanding in both professional and personal settings. My time studying abroad in Seville, Spain, further enhanced my intercultural communication skills as I learned to navigate new cultural dynamics and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds through complete Spanish immersion. Through presentations, writing, digital content creation, and marketing campaigns, I focus on clear, concise, and impactful messaging that drives engagement and results. In addition, my role managing the Club Wakeboarding and Girls Wake Club Instagram at UF requires me to be the liaison, decoding the information from the executive board to the club's active members.

Creativity
As a content creator and graphic designer for GatorWake, Wahines of the Waves, and various marketing campaigns such as Go Puff, Study Edge, Swamp Rentals, Anthem House GNV, and BLVD GNV, I create engaging and interactive content on the club teams' instagrams and social media accounts. As an emerging saleswoman, it takes creativity to find innovative solutions for your buyer and to be able to articulate my words correctly in order to get a message across. Through my professional selling minor, Teaching Assistant responsibilities, and intensive 10-week sales internship, I learned that there is always more than one solution.
